A Small Community With A Big Impact
Lopez Island School District has a K-12 campus on Lopez Island and a K-8 school on Decatur Island. Students and families reap the benefit of being a part of a tight-knit learning community that supports collaboration, communication, and caring. At Lopez, we believe in educating the whole child and that it takes a village to raise the youth in our community to be healthy and successful human beings.
School hours for all students are 8:30 - 3:15 on all weekdays except Tuesdays. Tuesdays all students are dismissed at 2 pm.
